Hailing from North Philly, Reese honed his craft as a youngster, influenced by his two older brothers' love for rap music. He performed his first rap at a middle school talent show, and got serious with hip-hop in the 90’s, inspired by artists such as The Roots, Mos Def and Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Nas, The Lox, Outkast, and many more.
